STMIK Royal – On November 30, 2023, STMIK Royal organized a Visiting Professor event, marking a close collaboration with the College of Computing, Informatics, and Mathematics at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Malaysia. The event represents a collaboration between STMIK Royal and KPPIM UiTM Malaysia aimed at enriching knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of information technology.
The event was attended by the Founder and Chairman of the Royal Teladan Asahan Education Foundation, the Chairman of STMIK Royal, and other dignitaries. It was also attended by students from the Information Systems and Computer Systems study programs who enthusiastically welcomed two distinguished speakers from UiTM Malaysia. The first speaker, YBHG. Prof. Ts. Dr. Haryani Haron, presented innovative thoughts and ideas under the theme “Advancing Information Technology: Bridging Knowledge and Innovation.” In her presentation, Prof. Haryani Haron discussed the latest developments in information technology and how to connect knowledge and innovation to drive progress in the field.
The second speaker, Dr. Nor Azimah Khalid, presented an equally intriguing theme, “Empowering Tomorrow’s Technology: Exploring Wireless Sensor Networks.” Dr. Nor Azimah Khalid discussed the role of wireless sensor networks in empowering future technology. With her experience and knowledge, she provided profound insights into the potential and applications that can be explored in the development of wireless sensor networks.
The Visiting Professor event took place at the STMIK Royal campus, creating an interactive and educational atmosphere for the participating students. The active participation of students from the Information Systems and Computer Systems programs added vibrancy to the event. With an enthusiastic atmosphere, participants had the opportunity to engage directly with the speakers, asking questions and discussing current issues in the world of information technology.
Through this event, STMIK Royal provides valuable opportunities for its students to broaden their insights and knowledge in information technology.
